Food Pantry Donations
Did you know you don’t have to wait for a “Food Drive” to bring in a donation??
If you have one can, one bag or a whole box load, you can bring your donation to mass and place it in the Food Pantry bin behind the table in the Narthex.

St. Roman Food Pantry
The St. Roman Food Pantry has been in
operation since August 2000. It is open on Tuesdays from 5 pm
to 7 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to noon.

The pantry serves clients from the 53207, 53220, and 53221 zip
codes. Through October of this year, the pantry has provided
food for over 4,000 people who are unemployed, underemployed, or on a fixed income. With the assistance of the Hunger Task Force (HTF), the food is provided at no cost to the clients.
The pantry is also considered an Infants Need Pantry to provide
baby formula to families in emergency situations. The donations received from Sharing Sunday, memorials, and private donations to the Pantry are used to purchase dairy products, frozen foods, and produce to supplement the nonperishable foods that are donated through food drives and
monthly deliveries from HTF.
This year, St. Roman Food Pantry again received the highest rating awarded by Hunger Task Force and was awarded a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to purchase additional food.

Please help support the wonderful work of St. Roman's Food
Pantry and its volunteers through your Sharing Sunday offering.
