Congratulations to Megan Elizabeth Ray who was welcomed into our community of faith through the waters of baptism last weekend. Megan is the daughter of Jeffrey and Helen Ray . Let us remember Megan in our prayers, that she may live as God‟s beloved child and learn to imitate Jesus in her life. A class for parents on the Sacrament of Baptism will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm here at St. Roman in the IMC. Parents who wish to have their child baptized here at St. Roman are required to attend a class prior to the baptism. There is a $10 fee that is collected at the class to cover materials. We encourage the god-parents to attend as well. This is also open to parents-to-be who would like to attend before the baby is born.
